Trade in pair of Paradigm Shift speakers. These are self amplified, plug them in, feed them a source and you are good to go! Basically a pair of Atom V7 with a nice punchy amp inside. Would work great as a simple stereo with turntable, computer speakers etc.

Note these had a rubberized front which was starting to flake off, the original owner took alcohol to the rubber, they look a bit uneven on the front. Invisible if you leave the grilles on.
