You are going to have to spend way, way more money to get a better streamer. This will walk all over a Sonos or Bluesound streamer. It has loads of detail, excellent tone and an extremely punchy sound that will keep your attention and your toes tapping all day long.

All that said, setup and control is a bit more finicky than other brands that we carry and we have deemed this unit a bit beyond what our average customer would want to work with. If you are reasonably technical you’ll have it going in less than 15 minutes and if you are a Roon user probably more like 5. This would ideally be used as a Roon endpoint which we tested and it works flawlessly in that regard.

This would work great as a complete music streamer running analogue out but also functions extremely well as a digital transport. You have almost every digital output currently available including I2S which makes it very versatile and could give you the sonic improvement that you have looking for to maximize the performance of your DAC.
