The Meze 105 AER is an open back headphone that strikes a perfect sonic balance that will draw you in and keep you listening for hours on end. These have a fast, punchy sound with lots of detail and drive but with enough warmth that they won’t fatigue your ears. And they are so comfortable that you could wear them all day long!

Being very similarly priced to the 99 Classic V2, it boils down to whether the open back or closed back style works better in your environment. The best part is that whatever you choose you’re getting a great sounding pair of cans! Feel free to stop in and have a listen if you want to compare and contrast these 2 models.

These are relatively easy to drive and you can be confident plugging into any open headphone jack and being able to get a good idea of what they can do. With an upgraded headphone amplifier, they will reward you even further.
